1. Add the salt and potatoes, stir and fry until well coated in the spice mixture. 2. Lightly rub spice mixture over skin of quail. 3. A Cajun-type spice mixture can be sprinkled on them, or salt and pepper, if you want to jazz up the taste. 4. Add half the spice mixture to the vegetables, and reserve the rest. 5. Add the rice and stir-fry until the grains are coated with the spice mixture. 6. Brush chops and vegetables on each skewer with oil and season generously with spice mixture. 7. Brush with spice mixture. 8. Both spices are used, for instance, in the classic Indian spice mixture known as garam masala, as well as in most curry blends. 9. Coat garlic slivers in spice mixture. 10. Cover the flesh side of the salmon with the spice mixture, making sure to coat it completely. |
