1. Drizzle the pineapple juice over the dry mixture. 2. Arrange apples on top of dry mixture and sprinkle reserved mix evenly on top. 3. Beat cream to soft peaks, then fold it into dry mixture. 4. Add the dry mixture and mix together by hand until just incorporated. 5. Add this dry mixture to the butter mixture in two parts alternating with the milk, stirring after each addition until just combined. 6. Add dry mixture to the wet in batches, stirring well after each addition. 7. Add to dry mixture. 8. Cream together brown sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg, and add dry mixture alternately with milk. 9. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, olive oil and honey, and add to dry mixture, mixing well to combine. 10. Make a well in the dry mixture. |
