1.   Add the egg and pulse briefly until the dough holds together when pressed between your fingertips.

2.   Add a little ice water, processing again until dough holds together when pressed between your fingers.

3.   Continue stirring until dough holds together, then knead it briefly, just until smooth.

4.   When ingredients are fully incorporated and dough holds together, turn it onto a lightly floured work surface.
