After a cool start, sunny, pleasantly warm weather will embrace much of the Northeast Sunday afternoon. 3. Ahead of the front, warm, windy weather will embrace much of the Northeast. 4. Dry weather will embrace the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states, as high pressure brings plentiful sunshine and seasonably warm air. 5. East of the lethargic low, unseasonably warm weather will embrace much of the Plains as a warm ridge of high pressure builds northward from Texas. 6. Elsewhere, unseasonably warm weather will embrace the West as strong high pressure builds over the area. 7. Elsewhere, sunny and warm weather will embrace southern California and the Southwestern deserts. 8. Farther east, sunny, mild weather will embrace much of the Great Basin and Rocky Mountains. 9. Meanwhile, very warm weather will embrace the coast of southern and central California as offshore winds arrest the inland flow of cool Pacific air. 10. Milder, breezy weather will also embrace much of the rest of the Northeast, though some broken light snow is possible in Upstate New York. |
