1. As the snow accumulates from that little boreal patch, growing inexorably year after year, gargantuan ice sheets begin to form. 2. Along the northern periphery of the precipitation shield, snow will accumulate over central portions of Oklahoma, Missouri and Illinois. 3. As a result, light snow will accumulate a couple of inches in Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and western Michigan. 4. As a result, snow will accumulate across interior New England and portions of the Maine coast, with a few new inches of snow likely by noon. 5. A steady light snow will accumulate several inches over northern Michigan. 6. By Monday, snow will accumulate several inches in lower elevations. 7. Farther inland, snow will accumulate deep enough to be plowed from interior southeast New York to northeast New England. 8. Farther inland, snow will accumulate from West Virginia to the Poconos. 9. Heavy snow will accumulate another six to twelve inches over the higher terrain of interior New England. 10. If these vents are blocked and snow accumulates on the overhanging eaves, warm air from the house can seep up into the attic and through the roof. |
