1. Using intragastric titration, however, Moss et al have been unable to show a fall in meal stimulated acid secretion after anti- H pylori treatment. 2. This hypothesis was tested by two ongoing trials of H pylori eradication treatment, one in patients with duodenal ulcer disease and the other in patients with intestinal metaplasia. 3. There are few data concerning the role of anti- H pylori treatment in gastric ulcer disease. 4. Therefore, H pylori treatment is recommended for patients with relapsing duodenal ulcer disease. |
