Place the bowl over simmering water, and whisk the yolk until it thickens and resembles mayonnaise. 6. Whisk egg yolk with buttermilk and butter. 7. Whisk the yolks in a bowl, then slowly stir in the warm cream mixture. 8. Whisk yolks by hand until light and fluffy. 9. Whisk yolks together in a bowl. 10. While continuing to whisk yolks, slowly drizzle about a cup of the hot milk mixture into them, to gradually warm them. |
