11. Invert the cake onto the rack, lift off the bottom of the pan and carefully peel off the parchment. 12. Invert cake onto a cooling rack, and peel off parchment paper. 13. Invert cake onto a rack. 14. Invert cake onto serving plate. 15. Invert cake onto wire rack. 16. Invert cake to remove bottom of pan and peel off paper when cake is cooled, but serve cake right side up. 17. Invert tube cakes twice, too. 18. Invert each cake onto a separate plate and place a small scoop of ice cream alongside. 19. Invert the cake onto a rack, and cool completely before slicing thinly with a serrated knife. 20. Lift off the bottom of the pan, peel off the paper, then invert the cake again to serve it. |
