1.   It was for the first time in the Bangladesh Parliament that an unscheduled discussion was allowed at a fixed hour.

2.   The budget session of Parliament began yesterday with Speaker Humayun Rasheed Chowdhury announcing his decision to earmark half an hour every day for unscheduled discussion.

3.   The Harriman-Balladur meeting took place minutes after Balladur held an unscheduled discussion at Matignon with Pasqua, Foreign Minister Alain Juppe and Defense Minister Francois Leotard.

4.   The Speaker said he would have discussion with the treasury bench before fixing the time for the half-an-hour unscheduled discussion in the House.
