1. Bring to the boil, stirring until the sauce is clear and thickened. 2. If sauce is too thick, add additional water. 3. If the sauce is bland, add a little more vinegar. 4. The sauce was very rich. 5. When the sauce is just starting to thicken, pour it over the meat. 6. The sauce is quite sweet, so add dried thyme as a contrast. 7. Chocolate sauce is always popular with youngsters. 8. The more herbs you use, the more pungent the sauce will be. 9. The sauce was glutinous and tasted artificial. 10. I now admit that I cannot tell the difference -- but to hell with it, the sauce is so good! |
