1.   Other travelers had to evacuate hotels in the center of Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia, when rioters began to set fires through the city.

2.   In response, Muslim activists called for reinforcements over mosque loudspeakers and rioters began smashing the windshields of cars that had crosses dangling from the mirrors.

3.   Police move in quickly and the rioters began running around the City Hall Square, approaching another bar.

4.   When the supply was cut completely Monday, rioters began stoning housing and vehicles.

5.   The rioters began ripping up the seats in the West Stand and hurling them on to the pitch and onto the crowd below them.
