1.   A redtail hawk circled over the ponds and disappeared above the pine trees.

2.   Especially remarkable were the flights of redtail hawks pushed by the cold front the last weekend in October.

3.   I watched a redtail hawk attack a golden eagle, driving it away.

4.   It was a redtail hawk, and one of its wings was broken -- most likely by a malicious shot.

5.   Robins, Western griebes, coots, a redtail hawk and blue herons were all spotted.
