1.   At Lapastica on Friday, ethnic Albanians man a trench near Serbian positions.

2.   Two days later, we meet a young Talib soldier who says he manned trenches we crossed the day of the attack.

3.   KLA rebels, wearing German-made fatigues and some with helmets and antitank weapons, manned trenches as close as a half-mile away.

4.   But this is a game which could call for raw courage and no one is better at manning the trenches than Adams.
