1.   There was a fruit pie of some sort with delicious crust pastry - each helping covered with freshly made piping hot custard.

2.   Butter melted into the hot custard at the end lends a silken texture.

3.   Immediately pour the hot custard through the sieve into the chilled cream.

4.   Skim any bubbles off the hot custard mix.
