1.   Another favorite uncooked pasta sauce is actually an herb salad, lightly dressed with good olive oil.

2.   Make an herb salad with the parsley leaves, chive batons and frisee.

3.   Place a pinch of herb salad on each egg and serve.

4.   Sprinkle them with the crisp hen of the woods, and top each with a small mound of the herb salad.

5.   The summer cook will have much to enjoy, including charred tuna, grilled lobster and herb salad and a feast of fresh fruit cobblers and crisps.

6.   Top each portion with a dollop of wasabi creme fraiche, then with some of the herb salad.
