1.   A layer of boiled, buttered new potatoes went onto the beans, followed by lots of green onions and freshly cracked pepper.

2.   Add an anchovy and sprinkle the edges of the plate with cracked pepper and chopped fresh parsley for appealing presentation.

3.   Combine the lemon juice, hot pepper flakes, cracked pepper and salt in a glass, ceramic or stainless steel bowl.

4.   My favorite dish was spaghetti cacio e pepe, a simple dish of spaghetti tossed with lots of garlic, cracked pepper and lashings of pecorino cheese.

7.   Serve with melted butter or aioli and fresh cracked pepper.

8.   The boneless hams are rolled in brown sugar then in cracked pepper before smoking, giving them a tasty crust.

9.   Then add a little cracked fresh pepper on top.

10.   To make cracked pepper, you need to crush each peppercorn into no more than eight or ten pieces.
