1. Add chopped chocolate and stir until it melts completely. 2. Add remaining chopped chocolate and stir until it is all melted. 3. Gently heat and stir about two-thirds of the chopped chocolate over simmering water in a double boiler until it is melted. 4. Immediately pour this hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate and stir with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted and smooth. 5. In a double boiler, melt chopped semisweet chocolate with butter and stir until smooth. 6. Place chopped chocolate in medium bowl and pour caramel over it. 7. Place half the chopped chocolate in a small bowl. 8. Place chopped chocolate in medium mixing bowl. 9. Place the rest of the chopped chocolate in a microwave-proof bowl. 10. Pour the hot mixture immediately over the chopped chocolate. |
