1. Another cool morning is expected Sunday across the Northeast before warmer and more humid air arrives Monday. 2. As colder air arrives in Colorado and Wyoming, wet snow will fall with significant accumulations possible along the Front Range. 3. As exceptionally chilly air arrives aloft at high altitudes, the atmosphere will become unstable, increasing the risk for isolated weak tornadoes or coastal waterspouts. 4. As a packet of cold, fast-moving air arrives aloft, a few of these storms will turn severe. 5. As the milder air arrives, a few pockets of light showers will affect western New England. 6. As colder air arrives, snow levels will decrease by a couple of thousand feet in the Sierra. 7. As warmer air arrives aloft from the South, a brief period of sleet or freezing rain could affect portions of northern Missouri and Illinois. 8. At Portland, Arctic air arrived after draining west through the Columbia River Valley. 9. Behind the front, clouds will break in most of the interior Southeast as drier air arrives from the southern Plains. 10. Behind this front, unseasonably chilly air will arrive on brisk winds from the north and northeast. |
