1.   The shed was held together by a few old rusty nails.

2.   Underneath, Luke Calder was as tough and hard as old nails.

3.   A couple of old nails are used as pegs.

4.   Drive them in place of the old nails and countersink.

5.   If you find pulling the old nails tedious and labor intensive, you could instead countersink them clear through the clapboard and fill the holes with wood filler.

6.   Is there a more permanent solution I can take to cover up these rust stains without having to pull all the old nails out?

7.   Remove the old nails holding in the weatherstripping, too.

8.   Pull out the old nail, then fill the old hole and the new nail head depression with joint cement.

9.   Remove the old weatherstripping from your door and all the old nails or screws holding it on.
