Compaq traditionally sold only PCs, getting into the server business a few years ago and unveiling its first workstations last year. 5. Even if the government wins its suit, Netscape still faces stiff competition from Microsoft in the lucrative server business. 6. Fujitsu also said it may enter the U.S. desktop PC and server business after establishing itself in laptops, an easier business to get into. 7.
