1. Before serving, remove turkey from oven and leave covered with foil. 2. - Within two hours of removing the turkey from the oven, refrigerate or freeze the leftovers separately -- the turkey, stuffing and gravy. 3. Remove turkey from oven and let sit. 4. Remove turkey from refrigerator one hour before frying. 5. Remove turkey, discard brine. 6. Remove turkey by carefully lifting out of pot. 7. Remove turkey from marinade, remove vegetables from cavities and drain excess liquid. 8. Remove turkey from oven and cover breast with foil. 9. Remove turkey from smoker and place into pan that was used as cover. 10. Remove turkey from oven and protecting your hands, grasp turkey with several layers of clean paper towels at both ends, and turn turkey, breast side up. |
