1. Apart from some patchy light snow in the northern high Plains, the remainder of the nation will be tranquil. 2. A disturbance racing southeastward will spread patchy light snow from the Dakotas toward the western Great Lakes. 3. A few hours of patchy light snow and rain will affect areas in the Northeast this Thanksgiving Day. 4. A finger of moist air will combine with slowly retreating bitter chill to promote patchy light snow in parts of the northern Plains. 5. A cold front with limited moisture will sweep from the Great Lakes states to the interior Northeast on Wednesday accompanied by clouds and patchy light snow. 6. A mixture of clouds and sunshine will prevail, however, and patchy light snow will linger in the hills of northern New England. 7. Clouds and patchy light snow will streak eastward from the northern Rockies into the northern Plains as increasingly moist air rises over the sloping terrain. 8. Clouds, patchy light snow and flurries will linger from southern New England to the interior Northeast as low pressure moves out to sea south of Cape Cod. 9. Clouds and patchy light snow will occur near a front from northern Iowa through the eastern Dakotas. 10. Clouds will be accompanied by patchy snow along west-facing slopes in the Rockies. |
