1.   The front will cross the Deep South with little more than patchy cloudiness and the odd thundershower.

2.   Patchy cloudiness and mild showers can be seen on satellite photos moving across the Lesser Antilles and into the east and northeast Caribbean.

3.   An area of patchy cloudiness and scattered showers moved quickly through the local area after midnight to leave light to moderate rain across portions of our local islands.

4.   Another wide band of patchy cloudiness has begun to move into eastern sections of our area this morning and will pass across all of our islands this afternoon.

5.   In the U.S. Virgin islands, patchy cloudiness along with passing showers will prevail this afternoon, tonight and Sunday.

6.   It is responsible for the steady east trade wind flow across the Caribbean and the patchy low level cloudiness that is transported westward.

7.   No showers were detected by radar in the vicinity of the Virgin Islands, although the satellite pictures indicated some patchy cloudiness southeast of St. Croix.

8.   Satellite pictures show some patchy cloudiness and light scattered showers east of the U.S. Virgin Islands moving westward.
