1.   Thicker cloud will bring patchy drizzle over north-west-facing coasts and hills.

2.   By dawn, some patchy drizzle seems likely over eastern England and a few showers over both the south east and south west.

3.   An area of rain will precede low pressure moving northeast from Kansas, with showers and patchy drizzle northwest of the track of the low.

4.   A couple of inches are possible before the snow ends as patchy drizzle.

5.   A few flurries and patchy drizzle across the northern Middle Atlantic States will mark the wake of a low-pressure system moving out to sea.

6.   Clouds and patchy freezing drizzle will occur across western Texas as a ridge of high pressure forces winds to ascend the sloping terrain.

7.   Elsewhere, showers and patchy drizzle will couple with areas of fog to produce a raw, dreary day.

8.   Farther west, patchy freezing drizzle and light snow will develop in the shallow cold air just west of the front from western Missouri to Colorado.

9.   Farther south, showers and patchy drizzle will develop over the Carolinas.

10.   Farther west, a pall of low clouds will again shroud the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, producing patchy drizzle and sporadic, light showers.
