1.   Around its base, old lava flows are covered with snow.

2.   At the Halona Blowhole, every few minutes the waves force great spouts of water to erupt through an old volcanic lava tube.

3.   Park yourself on a hardened old lava ledge and prepare to gape.

4.   The epicenters of its earthquakes are directly below the centerline of its summit, an old lava pinnacle.
