1.   By its very nature, raw meat will contain some bacteria.

2.   As an added bonus, game meat does not contain any of the steroids or antibiotics often found in retail meats.

3.   Among other things, the new requirements for USDA-purchases say the meat can contain no salmonella bacteria.

4.   If commission inspectors were to find evidence of products labelled as lamb or other meats containing beef they can have abattoirs concerned closed down.

5.   In addition to being in an advanced state of decomposition, preliminary tests showed that the meat contained a high percentage of fat, starch and industrial dyes.
