1.   The court granted the motion for a new trial.

2.   Almost two weeks ago, a judge in the Whatcom Superior Court granted a motion which allowed the original lawsuit to be amended to a class-action suit.

3.   And the jury selection among the current pool may be overturned altogether if the judge grants a motion by defense lawyers to start the process over from the beginning.
