1. Sift the flour, salt and ground mixed spice together and then fold gradually into the creamed butter and sugar mixture. 2. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter and sugar mixture. 3. Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed butter alternately with sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients and beating after each addition only enough to blend. 4. Add the eggs, one at a time, until they are blended with the creamed butter and sugar. 5. Using a wooden spoon, add creamed butter and ground chocolate, stir well. |
