1.   Although beef seems to be the most popular meat choice, pork, chicken, ground turkey and even a little bulk sausage are other possibilities.

2.   Bulk sausage is very perishable and should be either cooked, frozen or preserved the day it is made.

3.   If you buy bulk sausage, or sausage patties, or remove sausage from its casing, it cooks in less than five minutes.

4.   If you want to include the meat, use bulk Italian sausage or a low-fat ground turkey sausage.

5.   Or use bulk sausage.

6.   Our tester preferred the low-fat cheese over the fat-free version and suggested some might want to try bulk turkey sausage instead of links.
