Bitterly cold air will cover the northern part of the Rockies. 4. By Saturday, dry air will cover a large area from the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley to the Northeast coast. 5. Chilly air will cover the northern Plains. 6. Chilly air will cover an area from the northern Plains to the Great Lakes and Middle Atlantic states on Friday as high pressure builds south from central Canada. 7. Chilly air will cover most of the West. 8. Chilly air will also cover the Great Lakes with snow showers expected along the downwind shores. 9. Chilly air will also cover the upper Midwest and Northern Plains as the ridge of high pressure representing the center of the Canadian air mass builds toward Lake Michigan. 10. Chilly air will cover the northern Plains due to the circulation around low pressure near Winnipeg. |
