1.   Ample sunshine and seasonably cool air will affect the lower Mississippi Valley and interior Southeast while sunny and pleasant conditions cover the Florida peninsula.

2.   Arctic air will pour into the Northern Plains behind a sharp cold front while partly cloudy and seasonable conditions cover the Northeast.

3.   Aside from some coastal morning clouds in southern California, sunny and seasonably warm conditions cover the Southwest.

4.   Behind the front, breezy and cool conditions will cover the northern Plains.

5.   A disturbance will bring a few showers to the Southwest while dry conditions cover most of the Northwest.

6.   Across the contiguous states, scattered showers will accompany low pressure crossing the Southeast while partly cloudy and mild conditions cover the central states.

7.   After some patches of low clouds in the morning, partly sunny conditions will cover most of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states.

8.   Ahead of the front, warm and humid conditions will cover most of the East.

9.   Brisk, autumnal conditions will cover the Northern Plains and Great Lakes, with clouds and intervals of sun.

10.   Chilly conditions will also cover the southern Plains and Texas where clouds will be abundant.
