1. Patches of low and middle level cloudiness moved across the virgin islands and east and southeast sections of puerto rico this morning producing a few showers. 2. An upper level trough located north of the area will remain nearly stationary and will bring mainly high level cloudiness over the islands. 3. Considerable high level cloudiness prevailed across the U.S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico during the predawn hours. 4. High level cloudiness will persist across the islands this afternoon. 5. It is responsible for the steady east trade wind flow across the Caribbean and the patchy low level cloudiness that is transported westward. 6. Northerly winds continue to spread low level cloudiness southward across our islands. 7. Satellite photos today show very small patches of low level cloudiness and moisture spread across the northeast caribbean and the adjacent atlantic...Moving westward towards our islands. 8. Satellite imagery showed extensive middle and upper level cloudiness from the western Caribbean eastward into the Lesser Antilles. 9. Satellite photos this morning show an area of dense low and middle level cloudiness extending from the east coast of the dominican republic northeastward across the atlantic. 10. Variable mostly middle level cloudiness was observed across the Virgin Islands and the reaminder of the northeast Caribbean with widely scattered light showers. |
