1.   Presently our local area lies under the west side of the upper level trough, which appears to be causing more stable atmospheric conditions.

2.   Puerto rico and the virgin islands are on the dry side of an upper level trough that was east of the leeward islands this morning.

3.   A broad middle to upper level trough continues to cover the west-central Atlantic extending southward across the northeast Caribbean this morning.

4.   A broad upper level trough of low pressure continues to dominate much of the western Atlantic producing very unstable middle and upper atmospheric conditions across our region.

5.   A low level trough was moving across our area this morning.

6.   A low level trough approaching the Virgin Islands from the east will likely spread showers and isolated thunderstorms over the U.S. Virgin Islands and east Puerto Rico Monday evening.

7.   A low level trough will move west over the leeward islands tonight and over Puerto Rico tomorrow.

8.   A low to mid level trough of low pressure located over Hispaniola late this morning will continue to move slowly northwest this afternoon and tonight.

9.   A low level trough will continue over the eastern Caribbean into Saturday.

10.   A low to mid level trough just east of the lesser Antilles late this morning will move west across the local region Monday night and Tuesday.
