5.   Farther west, mostly sunny weather will stretch from central Montana to the interior Northwest.

6.   In contrast, sticky weather will stretch over a large area from Texas to the Carolinas.

7.   In the meantime, mainly sunny, pleasant weather will stretch from North Dakota to Minnesota.

8.   Sunny, but chilly weather will stretch from west Texas to the northern Rockies as areas of high pressure reign.

9.   Sunny and mild weather will stretch from Texas to the Southwest as air sinks around a large high pressure zone.
