1.   Authorities there arrested an Iranian-educated Saudi man last month and accused him of driving a car that accompanied the truck packed with explosives to the Khobar Towers.

2.   Law enforcement officers have long known that several Saudi men, believed to have been trained and possibly financed by the Iranians, fled to Iran after the bombing.

3.   On that subject, a Saudi man who politely turned a visitor away from his office in Buraida stopped first to offer a piece of advice.

4.   One Saudi man objected to wearing overalls, embarrassed when acquaintances rolled down their car windows and joked that he should avoid police patrols looking for illegal immigrants.

5.   Saudi officials confirmed that dozens of Saudi men are indeed being detained and questioned intensively.

6.   Saudi young men, some bristling out of their muscle shirts, saunter past young women wearing stretch jeans.

7.   Saudi men stand out because they wear long white robes and headdresses.

8.   The documents were filed in deportation proceedings against the Saudi man, Hani Abd Rahim al-Sayegh.

9.   The document was disclosed on Thursday after a closed-door hearing on the immigration status of Hani al-Sayegh, a Saudi man arrested last week in Canada.

10.   The not guilty plea unhinged a deal in which the Saudi man, Hani Abdel Rahim Hussein al-Sayegh, was deported here in June from Canada.
