2.   UTMB researchers wear protective hoods and work in biological safety cabinets that have their own specialized ventilation systems with filters to minimize the release of infectious aerosols.

3.   She said rules are being changed to require technicians testing suspicious substances to wear protective hoods as well as masks.

4.   Local officials also asked for military protective masks and chemical protective hoods developed by the US army chemical biological defense command.
