1.   Also, install insulating gaskets behind each electrical outlet plate on that wall and apply caulking compound along the base of the wall where it meets the floor.

2.   Paste the wallcovering over the plate, making sure the pin perforations in the corner exactly match the corners of the outlet plate.

3.   Remove the outlet cover plate, then loosen the mounting screws that hold the receptacle in place.

4.   And though it had white plastic outlet plates on the walls and lights in the ceiling, they were merely decorative -- until September.
