1.   Ample sunshine will preside across the Pacific states, although patchy clouds will occur near the Olympic peninsula and in southern California.

2.   A cold front approaching Washington will trigger some showers in the Olympic peninsula.

3.   A moist onshore flow in northern Washington will bring abundant clouds and some rain to the Olympic peninsula.

4.   A plume of Pacific moisture aimed toward British Columbia may induce a shower near the Olympic peninsula.

5.   A warm front pushing into the Pacific Northwest will bring showers west of the Cascades from central Oregon to the Olympic peninsula.

6.   Except for stubborn low clouds across the Northwest Coast and a few showers over the Olympic peninsula, the West will be mainly sunny and warm.

7.   Farther north, coastal clouds and fog will linger near the Olympic peninsula.

8.   Gales and heavy rain will drench the Northwest coast from northernmost California to the Olympic peninsula.

9.   In the West, a stream of Pacific moisture will bring heavy rain to the Olympic peninsula while sunshine and dry weather covers California and the Southwest.

10.   In the Northwest, a few rain showers will brush the Olympic peninsula while scattered snow showers occur in the Bitterroot Mountains.
