Clouds and a few snow and rain showers will linger over the northern Mississippi valley as northerly breezes deliver colder air. 6. Farther north, ample sunshine and unseasonable heat will prevail from Wyoming to the northern Mississippi valley. 7. In the wake of the front, cooler and drier air will spread into the northern Mississippi valley. 8.
