1.   After-images of new and modified blocks are written to twin log files.

2.   If the primary log file is flawed then the software performing the rebuild operation will switch to the reserve log.

3.   Log files are kept for every log-in session for every student management system user.

4.   Most user and system activity was captured and stored in machine-readable log files.

5.   This file is called the log file.

6.   Check the report log file, ABLE--REPORT.LOG, for errors which may have occurred earlier and resolve these.
