1.   Faces red as holly berries, mouths in a bubble of swearing, they dip and revel in the snow.

2.   As the mockingbird gorges on black holly berries, it chases away any other bird that shows an interest.

3.   For wreaths, add cinnamon candies to represent holly berries.

4.   Insert a candle of a contrasting color into the holders and nestle them into an arrangement of evergreens, pine cones and holly berries.

5.   Over the years we have added holly berries, silver bells and shiny red hearts to our tree.
