7.   He said it was unfair to deprive residents of their green lung, adding he could not understand why the State Government had approved such a plan.

8.   He said any proposal or application to develop green lungs and open spaces in housing estates and areas gazetted as recreational areas would be rejected.

9.   However, he lamented that the Perak Government was slow to recognise the importance of preserving such areas, resulting in many green lungs being granted to developers.

10.   IPOH, Fri. - The DAP is urging the State Government to be more committed in creating and maintaining green lungs for the benefit of the people.
