1. The room was hot and no breeze came through the window. 2. A breeze came through the door, bringing the odor of horse flesh and cow patties. 3. A slight breeze was coming off the water. 4. But if the breezes came from Canada, they often were filled with clean cool air. 5. Every so often came a breeze to soften the hot night. 6. For eons now, it seems, the Tree has stood swaying in whatever breezes come its way while skaters glide and occasionally fall at its feet. 7. If a cool breeze comes up and a wearer stops perspiring, the spring reacts and coils, releasing heat. 8. The mild breeze came from the east, as I had hoped. 9. When the breeze comes in from the Hudson, it still carries with it an unmistakable whiff of, well, carnage. 10. It was perfect out there for a little while and then the breeze came. |
