1.   Baseboard molding is the wood trim that runs around the perimeter of the wall at floor level.

2.   Cut new pieces of baseboard molding to fit in the gap between the existing molding, then nail them into place.

3.   Gradually, they become accustomed to a window without the casing, missing baseboard molding or a door that never gets a coat of sealer.

4.   Now take an ordinary pencil compass and scribe the back edge of the plywood to exactly match the face of the wall and its baseboard molding.
