1.   Allow to cool slightly, then brush top of the cake with Apricot glaze.

2.   Arrange fruit and nuts over the top then, using a pastry brush, glaze carefully with Apricot glaze.

3.   Brush the smooth top of the cake with apricot glaze and turn it over on to the centre of the marzipan, glaze side down.

4.   Brush the edges of the cake with apricot glaze and press the strip along the sides.

5.   Brush the cake with apricot glaze.
