Over Florida, isolated strong storms will erupt, mainly in association with sea breeze fronts forging inland from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. 43. Similar conditions will prevail in Florida, though isolated storms will develop in the humid air. 44. The exception will be in the southern Appalachians, where an isolated storm is possible. 45. The rest of Florida will be rather humid with isolated storms which are also likely along the Gulf Coast. 46. The remainder of the South will become hotter with only isolated storms near the Gulf coast. 47. The West will be mainly sunny and hot with isolated afternoon lightning storms forming near the rugged terrain of the southern Rockies. 48. Thunderstorm activity will be suppressed, with only isolated storms in the Central and Southern Appalachians and near the Southeast coast. 49. Torrid weather over the southern Plains will be tempered by more clouds and isolated storms. 50. Towering cumulus clouds will spawn isolated afternoon storms, especially just inland from the coast where developing sea breeze fronts undercut and lift the sultry air. |
