31. On carved or grooved surfaces use a wire brush with brass bristle or a stiff scrub brush. 32. Parts of the painting have been scraped bare with a wire brush and others flattened with a hot iron. 33. Pull off the debris and clean up the stopper with a wire brush. 34. Remove the cardboard and the dowels, and add texture with a wire brush. 35. Remove built up grease with wire brush. 36. Put some more stripper down and work on the same area with a wire brush. 37. Remove loose and flaking particles with a wire brush. 38. Rusted furniture must be scraped with a wire brush to remove the rust before painting. 39. Remove caked grass and dirt with a stiff putty knife and a wire brush, then check to make sure that the engine mounts are tight. 40. Remove rust and dirt from the pivot hole with a small wire brush or fine emery cloth rolled into a cylinder. |
