31. Or, slather roofing cement on the spot, very thinly, then sprinkle stone dust on it. 32. Put a dab of roofing cement in the gap to cover the nail heads. 33. Press down on the patch to distribute the roofing cement underneath, then apply a bead of roofing cement around the edges. 34. Repair them with a metal patch and asphalt roofing cement. 35. Roofing cement can also heal splits. 36. Scrape away any old roofing cement under the shingles and around the vent pipe. 37. Seal holes with roofing cement. 38. Seal all the seams with roofing cement. 39. Small cracks and holes can be sealed by applying a patch held in place inside the gutter with roofing cement. 40. Small roof leaks can be sealed with roofing cement, but a missing, storm-lifted, curled or cracked shingle should be replaced. |
