A weak upper level trough extending from the northeast Caribbean northeastward across the Atlantic influenced our area once again Thursday to produce active weather. 34. A tropical wave approaching the Windward Islands this morning has become active as it has come under the influence of the upper level trough. 35. A tropical wave moving into the local area this morning is interacting with an upper level trough directly overhead of our local islands to initiate scattered thunderstorms. 36. A weak low level trough remains in its wake. 37. A weak mid to upper level trough will be moving through our area today and tonight increasing the clouds and shower activity. 38. A weakening upper level trough can be found on satellite photos this morning extending from the northeast caribbean northeastward out across the Atlantic. 39. An upper level trough affecting the local region Tuesday has moved westward and now extends from near Jamaica northeastward into the western Atlantic. 40. An upper level trough associated with this low pressure system will move east into Hispaniola today and across Puerto Rico tonight. |
