Sunshine will be dimmed by some clouds away from the coast, but temperatures will rise to near record levels in many sections. 26. The exception to the sunshine and warmth will be in parts of New England, where high clouds will dim the sunshine at times. 27. The exception to the tranquil weather will occur from Florida to eastern Texas, where residual clouds and fog from a waning disturbance will dim the sunshine at times. 28. The National Weather Service predicted the haze would also dim sunshine in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and western Tennessee over the weekend. 29. The Southwest will see sunshine dimmed by high clouds, but readings will stay above seasonal levels. 30.
